1. Results of the LINk Steering Group Elections 2009

The votes have now been counted and verified. We are delighted to announce the names of the newly elected members of the steering group as:

  • Robert Brown MBE (Individual)
  • Avril Fuller (Friends Families and Travellers)
  • Mick Lister (Individual)
  • Peter Southgate (Individual) - resigned
  • John Wood (Individual)

Thank you to everyone who took part in this year's elections, the candidates, the voters and the previous LINk steering group members.

A special thank you also to Terry Rixon from the West Sussex LINk stewardship group and Olly Grice from the West Sussex's host team, for giving up their time to act as independent invigilators who (after a seriously thorough look at everything) verified the results and declared that they "saw nothing that would invalidate the process".

The Steering Group elected Robert Brown as Chair and Steve Lawless as Vice Chair at it's meeting in November last year.
