The 2020 Family of Partnerships
Family of partnershipsImplementation of the Brighton & Hove Sustainable Community Strategy is the responsibility of the 2020 Community Partnership. Delivery arrangements are complex but, in general terms, delivery takes place via a ‘family of partnerships'.
The family of partnerships delivering the programme and feeding into the 2020 Community Partnership include:
- Brighton & Hove Learning Partnership;
- Strategic Housing Partnership;
- Healthy City Partnership;
- Brighton & Hove Economic Partnership;
- Crime & Disorder Reduction Partnership.
Support is specifically provided from:
- the Sustainability Commission;
- the Arts Commission;
- Brighton & Hove Children's Trust;
- the Public Service Board;
- the Economic Development and Enterprise Board.
Sub-Groups of the 2020 Community Partnership are:
- the Neighbourhood Renewal Review Group
- the Transport Sub-Group
- the Local Development Framework Sub-Group
Management of the partnerships
A partnership manager facilitates each partnership and the various managers meet together regularly as a Group.
The community and voluntary sector is represented on these partnerships via our CVSF elected representatives. The reps attend their respective partnership meetings and also receive information specific to their partnership from the relevant Partnership Manager.
CVSF reps represent the sector as a whole, not their personal or own organisations' views, and each rep reports back on the meetings that they have attended.
If you would like to keep up to date with developments, our 'CVSF Library' page contains the Reps' feedback links.
