Networking

The Forum has a number of specialist networks which bring together diverse groups of individuals from very small groups to very large organisations. Some of these networks meet quarterly, some more often.

All Forum networks will be encouraged to develop their own terms of reference but all should embrace the vision and values and aims and objectives of the Forum.

Each network should agree a ‘responsible contact officer', who acts as the point of communication between the Network and Forum office.

Membership

Networks are 'sub networks' of the Forum and therefore all members of a network should join the Forum if they aren't already a Member.

Administrative Support

The Forum will support networks in three ways:

1. Photocopying. The Forum will pay for photocopying network meeting notes.

2. Mailings. The Forum will post up to 6 mailings annually on behalf of each network. The Forum will maintain the network mailing lists in liaison with the responsible contact officer.

3. Room Hire: If no one member of each network has a room to offer, the Forum will pay for room hire for network meetings, to a maximum of £100 annually.

Facilitators and Scribes

Networks that meet within quarterly conferences are responsible for providing information for conference agenda's and their own facilitator and note taker.

Feedback to the Forum's wider membership

The Forum offers one page in each edition of the quarterly ‘Dialogue' magazine for networks to share their work with others and recruit new members.

Meetings within Quarterly Conferences

Because of room restrictions, there are a maximum number of network meetings that can meet within each Forum quarterly conferences.
