City Inclusion Partnership
The City Inclusion Partnership (CIP) is a group formed under the Local Strategic Partnership, made up of reps from the statutory sector (eg: emergency services, NHS trusts, council), and with two reps from the Stronger Communities Partnership. It focuses on equalities and inclusion issues. Its main aim is to enable statutory organisations to work together better, so they can meet their legal duties, respond to communities' views, and work more consistently and effectively together approach across the city.
Minutes of the partnership are available, as usual, but the group feel that there is a value in providing shorter notes which highlight the key points. These can help individuals or groups to keep up-to-date with what the partnership is doing, or indicate where more information or the full minutes would be useful. We plan to circulate these updates after every meeting (quarterly).
